Batu Tumpang area is precisely located on Jalan Raya Cikajang-Pamengpeuk, Tanjung Jaya Village, Banjarwangi District, Garut. Located about 32 kilometers from the urban center of Garut.
"The stone has been around since ancient times, the stone is not the result of eruption from the mountain, but it is a hilly area that has large stones," said one historian Garut Warjita to AFP at the Garut City District Office, Jalan Pramuka, Saturday (25/11/2017).
